Three Myths about CIPP Debunked

For CIPP repair, misinformation is often damaging. In reality, bad intel is one of the reasons that practical advancements are often lost. Unfortunately, this can also pertain to pipe repair. Cured-in-place pipe repair doesn’t require intricate procedures, yet some misperceptions have kept people from benefiting from this commercial service. For example, CIPP is occasionally confused with conventional and outdated methods, but the two greatly differ.

Before your next pipe system fix, it is important to understand the facts to help you make a proper and informed decision. Cured-in-place pipe repair is a versatile, inexpensive, and reliable procedure for replacing defective and busted pipes.

TRENCHLESS PIPE REPAIR IS EXPENSIVE

The first myth about trenchless pipe repair is that the method is not affordable. The truth is that there’s an extensive overlap between conventional pipe replacement and CIPP. The lowest price for CIPP compared to the lowest price for traditional pipe repair is usually a bit higher. The rest of the price ranges overlap. So finding CIPP that is more affordable than traditional pipe repair is possible. The determining factors in price will be the intricacy and size requirements of the job and the chosen method of pipe repair.

CIPP REPAIR CAN’T FIX DAMAGED PIPES

CIPP is often a preventive measure. However, as the pipes in your home begin to age, transition to CIPP to avoid the development of problems. Although CIPP is an excellent preventative measure, it can also repair damaged pipes.

With CIPP, experts push or pull a resin tube through the affected pipe. This tube easily goes through damaged pipes and even conceals holes or small pipe sections. After expanding, the tube fills with air. It expands and solidifies, helping the existing pipe stay together.

If you suspect that your extensive pipes are faulty, your CIPP contractor will often conduct an in-depth inspection to ensure that the pipe did fully collapse. If your pipe breaks completely and there’s a way through it, CIPP may not be right for that section.

CIPP REPAIR IS NOT CERTIFIED

This CIPP repair myth is false and presumptive. In reality, trenchless pipe repair is well-established. Trenchless repair technicians aren’t winging it, especially now that its economic advantages and dominance are popular. As people progressively embrace CIPP, the procedure is becoming a household name.

Trenchless pipe repair is effective, flexible, and noninvasive. Don’t let myths prevent you from considering CIPP for your home or business. In contrast to public opinion, CIPP is an inexpensive service that works for diverse plumbing issues.
