Introduction

In commercial property ownership and management, it’s important to identify problems as quickly as possible. Whether it’s through your own maintenance team or through an annual inspection, discovering the signs of a broken or clogged portion of sewer line can be distressing. While traditional repair methods involve expensive digging and searching for the source of damage, there are more modern solutions to these problems. When you see the signs of sewer line issues, let the experts at Advanced Pipe Repair help you through the process.

Sewer Line Inspections Matter

Sewer Line Inspections Matter

When you contact the team at APR, we will arrive promptly and get to work. The very first thing that we’ll do is conduct a sewer line inspection. Our experts will do a full inspection to determine the overall health of your entire line. This is a vital part of providing a complete picture of any issues at hand and potential issues in the future. Completing a full sewer line inspection will also be helpful to designing a repair plan to suit your business needs. It should be noted that we complete all pipe inspections through video. This is because most pipes are too small for humans to enter safely. Also, video cameras can capture all angles within pipes–the images can be used in any reporting documents that can be shared with leadership and with your insurance company as applicable.

Sewer Line Repairs Through Modern Techniques

Sewer Line Repairs Through Modern Techniques

Much like our use of video inspections, the professionals at Advanced Pipe Repair believe in using the most advanced techniques to get the job done quickly, safely, and securely. Using the evidence found in the video inspection process, our experts can remove clogs and identify breaks in the sewer line without digging. You read that right. At APR, we focus on no-dig repairs. We understand just how messy, invasive, and time-consuming traditional sewer line repairs can be. With the help of a new technology called CIPP, no-dig pipe repairs are a possibility.

CIPP For Sewer Line Repairs

CIPP For Sewer Line Repairs

CIPP, which stands for Cured-in-Place-Piping, is the latest option in no-dig pipe repairs. CIPP is not a replacement but is actually a repair program. In CIPP, a new liner is inserted into the damaged or broken pipes identified in the video inspection. Once the liner has been bonded to the existing pipe and the two pieces cured, your sewer system will be back in working order. While CIPP is the industry standard for no-dig repairs, it keeps getting better and better. Over the last several years, the curing process has been improved. Traditionally, the curing process took many hours or days. With new ultraviolet (UV) and/or light-emitting diode (LED) curing materials, repaired sewer pipes can be used in a matter of hours.

If this is your first time thinking about your sewer lines, there’s no better time to take a closer look at those pipes. While it’s easy to overlook your sewer system if it’s working properly, when it’s not working you and your team will know it quickly. While a major line break or a clog will be apparent quickly, there are other, less specific symptoms of failing pipes or sewer systems that require fast attention.

If you notice any of the following in your commercial space, contact Advanced Pipe Repair Immediately:
